Its towns are Ogbaho, Amankanu, Oruku, Owo and Amechi. Amechi, the last of them, came off the Ntebe-Nese group's Akunano section.
The group lies on the northern Nkanu plains, an isolated and under-populated area colonized mainly out of the eastern uplands.
