Its towns are Umulolo, Umunna and Okwe. Five further local communities are mentioned without being named.
Uturu (No. 27) is described as an offshoot of this clan, and the Aro section known as Ndizorgu holds many outlying settlements scattered over Otanchara and Otanzu country on land bought from them. The local communities of Otanzu and Otanchara are intermingled.
The group lies in the southern uplands, among communities of little outside contact and no title system, and in the broken country of the Imo river headwaters. Forde & Jones record no origin tradition for Otanzu itself.
