| Region | Enugu |
|---|---|
| Division | Northern Igbo |
| Ethnic group | Igbo |
| Recorded as | confederation of clans |
| Also known as | Ntebe-Nese |
Its towns are this entry with the Ntebe-Nese group, which it says is made up of four sections and the local communities called Ogugu, Abogugu, Ihe and Owelli, with Ituku, Isu, Oma Owelli, Obeeko, Ugbo, Obeagu and Obodo among the rest.
The fifth section of the same group, the Akunano group, is entered separately under Akegbe-Ozalla (No. 33). Owelli therefore stands at the head of a cluster of communities spelled Ntebe-Nese here and Ntebe-Nesi in later references to Akunano.
The group lies in the southern section of the eastern uplands, an area of small and isolated communities with little outside contact and no title system.
