Mother Kite and Daughter Kite: A Lesson About Strength and Patience

Mother Kite and Daughter Kite
Mother Kite and Daughter Kite

A long time ago, in a beautiful forest, there lived a wise kite and her young daughter. Mother Kite was known for being strong and smart. Many animals in the forest would come to her for advice. Her daughter looked up to her and wanted to learn everything her mother knew.

One day, the daughter asked, “Mother, why do we fly so high in the sky? Why do we go above everyone else in the forest?”

Mother Kite smiled and answered, “We fly high because it lets us see everything clearly. We can find food easily, and we can spot dangers before they get close. But flying high also teaches us to be patient and strong. Sometimes it is hard to stay up in the sky because the wind is strong, but the higher we fly, the stronger we become.”

The daughter kite thought for a moment and said, “But it is hard sometimes. The wind pushes me down, and I get so tired.”

Mother Kite nodded and said, “Yes, the wind will try to push us down, but we must push back. If we don’t give up, we will learn to fly higher. Trust in your strength, and let the wind help you.”

One day, a strong wind blew through the forest. It was very powerful, and the daughter kite had trouble staying in the air. She flapped her wings hard, but she felt tired. Mother Kite called to her, “Don’t fight the wind too much, my dear. Let it help you. The wind will teach you how to fly higher.”

The daughter kite listened to her mother. Instead of fighting the wind, she let it carry her higher. Slowly, she began to fly even higher than before.

When the wind stopped, daughter kite landed next to her mother and said, “Mother, I understand now. The wind doesn’t just try to push me down. It helps me fly higher.”

Mother Kite smiled and said, “Yes, my dear. Remember, challenges will come, but if you trust yourself and learn from them, you will become stronger and wiser.”

From that day on, the daughter kite learned to use the wind to help her soar higher, just like her mother had taught her.

Moral of the Story

This story teaches us that challenges are a part of life. Instead of fighting against them, we can learn from them and become stronger.
